Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC)
The Statewide Independent Living Council works collaboratively with Michigan’s Centers for Independent Living to develop and submit the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL). The SPIL establishes a blueprint for present and future independent living programs and services in Michigan.
The next SPIL is due by June 30, 2016. To review the current draft and make comments on the goals, objectives and other content visit the Michigan SILC website at www.misilc.org
Statewide Independent Living Plan (SPIL)
This document describes Michigan’s State Independent Living Services / Centers for Independent Living (SILS/CIL) program and outlines plans for Fiscal Years (FYs) 2014-2016. It is jointly developed by the State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) Partners, including Michigan’s Network of Centers for Independent Living.
