2009 Legislative Report

The fiscal year 2009 report to the Michigan Legislature is now available. This report is compiled and submitted by Disability Network/Michigan and the Statewide Independent Living Council to show the cost savings to the Michigan taxpayer for Centers for Independent Living Services.

Highlights Include:

• Almost 39 million dollars in cost savings to Michigan Taxpayers

• Over 154 thousand hours of direct individual services

• Over 56 thousand hours in community activity service.
