Public Input Sought for 2017-2020 State Plan for Independent Living

heads with speach bubblesThe draft Michigan State Plan for Independent Living Plan (SPIL) is available for public input on Michigan Statewide Independent Living Council’s website (www.misilc.org). Michigan’s Center’s for Independent Living and the Michigan Statewide Independent Living Council have spent the last 15 months obtaining information from a variety of people and organizations to develop the road-map for Michigan’s IL program over the next three years.

Prior to final submission it is important to broaden the input we receive from the public. On May 13th a public hearing will be held in Flint, and written feedback will be accepted up until that date. For details on the hearing or where to send your feedback visit Michigan Statewide Independent Living Council’s website (www.misilc.org).
